What can I expect when I come to an evening?
You can expect to be warmly welcomed into the group and be supported by the team and other participants. The structure of the evening is largely dependant on the theme of the night (detailed in Events) and the direction that the night naturally evolves. This is determined by the people present and any guidance or direction offered by the intervention of spirit. The evenings are relaxed and informal, with the opportunity to get to know other participants during tea and coffee breaks.
Will I have to sing hymns or listen to sermons?
No. We offer an alternative to traditional spiritualist churches, whilst still respecting their ways of practice and operation. You will receive guidance from the team through relaxed and informal discussion and through guided meditations.
We only ask for contributions to enable us to cover our overhead costs, largely room hire. We ask for £5 per person on an evening workshop. Any other donations are warmly welcomed, but not expected.
The workshops are held in Lechlade, Gloucs (see Events for specific location). The Beyond the Boundaries team are located across Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. You are welcome to become involved irrespective of where you live.
How is Beyond the Boundaries funded?
Beyond the Boundaries receives no public or private funding. The Beyond the Boundaries team paid for our initial outlay and costs as they arose. As detailed previously, we do ask for a donation of £3 per person per evening to assist with our ongoing costs and to help the organisation develop.
You don't profit from Beyond the Boundaries - why do you do it?
The Beyond the Boundaries team have all embarked on their own journeys of spiritual and self-awareness and have benefited from the positive experiences that have resulted. The team now wish to share with you what they have learnt and wish to empower you to enter onto your own journey of awareness. We do not ask for anything in return, other than your willingness to learn, open your mind and embrace the experiences encountered.
How long will it take me to achieve self and spiritual awareness?
There is no definitive answer and it is wholly down to you. We cannot guarantee the rate of your development, but we can guarantee that the workshops we offer will support you throughout all stages of your development. It is only through your own dedication, open mind and willingness to learn that your own journey of self and spiritual awareness can commence.
What makes you qualified to run this organisation?
All of the Beyond the Boundaries team have embarked on their own journeys of spiritual and self-awareness, but they have also studied towards formal qualifications. For more information, please click on individual team members' names on the menu on the left.
Can I have a personal reading?
We don't do personal readings at the weekly workshops, although during evenings of clairvoyance a personal message may emerge. Members of the Beyond the Boundaries team are, however, available for private personal readings. Please contact us for more information.
I wish to receive some personal healing. Can you help?
Again, this is not typically conducted during an evening workshop, but there are experienced healers amongst the Beyond the Boundaries team, so please do contact us for more information.
