Beyond the Boundaries is a not-for-profit organisation serving Gloucestershire and Wiltshire and beyond. We aim to bring people together to empower them to realise and develop their own spiritual and self-awareness potential.
We achieve this through providing support and guidance as you embark upon your own spiritual journey. This support is provided through weekly gatherings where experienced mediums and healers offer guidance as you begin to explore the wonders of working with spirit for yourself. We cannot make your development happen, but we can provide you with the tools to awaken your own spiritual and self awareness.
The Beyond the Boundaries team do not, and will not, 'preach' their beliefs to others, but they will provide the guidance that can often be needed when someone first embarks on working with spirit and developing their awareness of 'self'.
Learn Meditation
Learning meditation is fun and being part of a class can provide support and the motivation to integrate this practice into your daily life.
My top ten tips for getting the most from your meditations are:-
- Meditate regularly — preferably every day for at least 10 or 15 minutes.
- Check out different techniques, choose one, and stick with it — for a few weeks or a month at least.
- Set aside a quiet niche where you can meditate undisturbed.
- Find a comfortable sitting position — and be sure to gently straighten your back
- Decide beforehand how long you’re going to meditate — then follow through, no matter how bored or restless you become.
- Begin by briefly connecting with your desire or motivation to meditate
- Take a few deep breaths before you start and consciously relax your body on the exhalation
- Drop any expectations about what you are supposed to be achieving or experiencing - and just be - exactly as you are
- Be patient, kind and gentle with yourself
- As much as possible extend the qualities of mind and heart you develop in your meditation to every area of your life
